Kering — Paris: Group Accounting Standards Apprentice (IFRS & Financial Projects). 12-month apprenticeship starting Sept 2026 in the Consolidation Directorate.
Role & Responsibilities
- Support the IFRS & Financial Projects team in the monthly and pre-closing processes, including monitoring lease contracts and preparing consolidation documentation.
- Assist in preparing and posting LTI-related accounting entries (IFRS 2) and other technical closing adjustments.
- Support the reconciliation process between statutory accounts and consolidated accounts (Stat-to-Conso) for the Houses and liaise with local finance teams.
- Prepare responses to accounting consultations and questions from the Consolidation Directorate, other Group departments and the Houses.
- Contribute to the maintenance and drafting of the Group Reporting Manual, accounting procedures and policy documentation.
- Draft technical alerts and newsletters on current accounting topics and participate in dissemination of Group accounting principles and best practices.
- Contribute to normative watch and the implementation of new or amended standards, notably preparation work for the forthcoming IFRS 18.
- Participate in cross-functional financial projects and animation of the Group financial reporting network.
Qualifications
- Enrolled in or holding a Bac+5 (Master's) with a specialization in accounting (e.g., Master CCA, Grande École, or equivalent).
- Strong interest in accounting standard-setting and regulatory topics (IFRS and French GAAP).
- Excellent written and oral communication skills; analytical mindset and strong drafting capability.
- Highly organised with the ability to prioritise tasks and manage deadlines.
- Curiosity, rigour and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Fluent French and English (spoken and written).
- Proficiency with office productivity tools and familiarity with Power BI.
