Role & Responsibilities

  • Maintain general ledger accounting: record routine and closing journal entries (monthly and annual), calculate provisions and perform bank reconciliations.
  • Prepare monthly consolidated reporting in accordance with IFRS and contribute to the consolidated close process.
  • Justify accounts and produce monthly analytical reviews of balance sheet and P&L items.
  • Prepare statutory financial statements for French entities and act as interlocutor for external auditors.
  • Reconcile payroll to accounting each month, analyse variances and document social provisions (bonuses, variable pay, leave, RTT, retirement indemnities) in coordination with FP&A.
  • Prepare VAT declarations and other corporate tax filings; assist in preparation of French fiscal bundles (liasses fiscales).
  • Support continuous improvement of close quality, accounting procedures and processes.
  • Prepare annual and semi‑annual budgets and analyse variances with FP&A and consolidation teams.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3–4 years' post‑graduate experience in accounting within a corporate finance function or accounting firm.
  • Higher education degree in accounting or finance (Bac +4/5 or Master’s level).
  • Fluency in French and English, both written and spoken.
  • Strong organisational skills, rigor and respect for confidentiality.
  • Good interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively in a small, cross‑functional team.

Experience

Three to four years minimum of progressive accounting experience post‑diploma, either in a corporate accounting department or in an accounting/audit firm, with exposure to month‑end/year‑end close, tax filings and IFRS reporting.

Education

Master’s degree (Bac+4/5) in Accounting, Finance or equivalent.
