Role & Responsibilities

  • Define and enforce front-end architecture principles, frameworks, and component libraries.
  • Co-design the front-end strategy in collaboration with architects, product managers, and platform tech leads.
  • Review pull requests and establish best practices for performance, accessibility, and testing.
  • Promote the use of shared UI components and consistent design systems across brands and products.
  • Collaborate closely with Product Owners, Designers, and Back-End Engineers to develop coherent, testable features.
  • Select and maintain front-end tools, analyze performance, and improve load times and runtime behavior.
  • Encourage automation of testing processes and track key performance indicators such as LCP, CLS, and error rates.

Qualifications

  • 5 years of experience in front-end development, including 1 to 2 years in a lead developer or technical lead role.
  • Proficiency in modern JavaScript/TypeScript and performance optimization techniques.
  • Experience with SSR/CSR/ISR and scalable architecture.
  • Fluency in both English and French.

Skills

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to collaborate effectively with designers and think user-first. Clear, structured communication and leadership by influence. Autonomy, proactivity, and accountability.

Experience

5 years of experience in front-end development, including 1 to 2 years in a leadership role.
