Kering FP&A Finance Controller Intern, Paris – 6-month corporate finance internship supporting financial planning, budgeting, and analysis.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Support monthly financial close activities for Kering SA France, including accounting verification and coordination with the accounting team on provisions and inter-company recharges using Power BI dashboards
  • Participate in monthly reporting production and analysis, including close books for senior financial management and variance analysis against budget and prior-year comparisons
  • Contribute to annual budget and forecast development for both France and international operations, including budget book production, dashboard preparation for budget defense presentations, and variance analysis
  • Load and validate data into budgeting tools from departmental submissions with consistency checks
  • Support ad hoc financial projects and special studies as assigned

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree at BAC+5 level or higher in commerce, engineering, or finance/accounting from a recognized institution
  • Excellent proficiency in office productivity tools, particularly Microsoft Excel (VBA macro skills are a plus)
  • Comfort with IT tools and software systems; familiarity with consolidation software (HFM), SAP, Esker, and Power BI is advantageous
  • Fluent in both English and French, written and spoken
  • Strong attention to detail and rigor in financial data management
  • Cross-functional collaboration skills with ability to engage with international colleagues
  • Organized, adaptable, intellectually curious, and capable of taking initiative
