Kering seeks a Financial Analyst in Petaling Jaya, Malaysia to support reporting, FP&A, inventory and statutory finance across SEAO.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Prepare and deliver monthly financial reporting (HFM/MRP), ensuring data accuracy, reconciliations and variance commentary.
  • Manage budgeting and forecasting cycles including template preparation, consolidation and deviation analysis.
  • Provide P&L and balance-sheet analytics for assigned brands, markets or entities and support Brand Finance in performance reviews and scenario analysis.
  • Maintain full set of accounts in SAP for month- and year‑end close; prepare monthly/annual group reporting packages in HFM per group timelines.
  • Prepare and maintain balance-sheet reconciliation packages and track/resolve open items with stakeholders.
  • Perform inventory control for SEAO/ANZ: month‑end stock adjustments, sales‑by‑category reporting from JDA, and reconcile retail sales timing vs stock outflow.
  • Coordinate year‑end statutory reporting, audits and corporate tax submissions including preparation of audit schedules and managing audit queries.
  • Prepare supporting documentation for intercompany billing, service recharges and logistics recharge flows; ensure correct GL coding and cost-centre mapping.
  • Maintain data integrity across financial systems (HFM, MRP, JDA, ERP), support system changes and testing, and document SOPs to support process harmonisation.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related discipline.
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in commercial finance within a multinational environment.
  • Strong written and spoken English.
  • Relevant professional qualification or progress towards one (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, CPA) preferred.
  • Demonstrable experience with SAP and financial close processes; exposure to retail or consumer products finance is an advantage.

Experience

Minimum three years of commercial finance experience in a multinational company, preferably with exposure to retail or consumer goods and shared-service finance operations.
