Kering Paris: Financial Reporting Analyst & IFRS Application Specialist in Consolidation Department.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Support the Head of IFRS & Financial Projects by analyzing accounting questions from Kering departments, finance shared service centers, and maisons, providing clear and operationally aligned responses
  • Review transactions and operations to identify appropriate accounting treatments and support their implementation across reporting processes
  • Contribute to transverse closing and pre-closing activities, including lease contract tracking and IFRS 16 tooling, IAS 36 impairment testing, IAS 19 pension coordination with Group actuaries, and IFRS 2 LTI provision calculations
  • Prepare and review financial statement footnotes in coordination with consolidation teams and manage ESEF/XBRL tagging activities
  • Prepare comprehensive documentation of closing options for the finance directorate and external auditors
  • Monitor regulatory and accounting standard evolutions, translating changes into concrete Group reporting practices
  • Support implementation of new standards and amendments, particularly IFRS 18, by anticipating impacts, adapting information systems, and providing guidance to consolidation and finance teams
  • Maintain and evolve the Group Reporting Manual, including chart of accounts, accounting schemas, accounting manuals, and related definitions
  • Develop and disseminate technical alerts and newsletters on accounting topics using clear, synthetic, and user-oriented communication
  • Contribute to the training and animation of the Group financial reporting network

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree +5 years (equivalent to Bac +5) with specialization in accounting, such as from a business school, Master's in Accounting (CCA), or university management program
  • Diploma in Chartered Accountancy (DEC) acquired or in progress is a strong asset
  • Approximately 5 to 8 years of professional experience in audit, financial consulting, consolidation, or reporting within an international group producing consolidated IFRS financial statements
  • Fluent in French and English, both written and oral, with ability to analyze complex subjects and present them in a simple, pedagogical, and action-oriented manner
  • Proficiency in office software tools and strong interest in reporting and data visualization tools, particularly Power BI
  • SAP or HFM experience is preferred
  • Italian language skills are an asset
  • Strong analytical mindset with ability to understand accounting subjects in depth while translating them into practical and applicable solutions
  • Recognized for rigor, curiosity, organizational skills, and proactive approach

Experience
