Role & Responsibilities

  • Prepare monthly financial reporting and group packs using HFM and SAP/MRP, ensuring data accuracy, reconciliations and variance commentary.
  • Manage budgeting and forecasting cycles, including template preparation, consolidation and deviation analysis.
  • Deliver P&L and balance-sheet analytics for assigned brands, markets or legal entities and support Brand Finance with performance reviews and scenario analysis.
  • Prepare full set of accounts in SAP for month‑end and year‑end close, maintaining a strong controllership mindset and compliance with accounting standards.
  • Prepare monthly balance-sheet reconciliations and track open items with stakeholders to ensure timely resolution.
  • Perform inventory control across SEAO/ANZ: month‑end stock adjustments, sales‑by‑category reporting (JDA), stock‑take support and reconciliation of retail sales timing vs stock outflow.
  • Coordinate and manage statutory year‑end processes, audits and corporate tax submissions, including preparation of audit schedules and responding to audit queries.
  • Prepare documentation for intercompany billing and service recharges; ensure correct GL coding, cost‑centre mapping and approval routing.
  • Act as daily contact point for assigned brands and markets; liaise with Retail Operations, Logistics, Shared Services (P2P, R2R, MDM, Tech) and Corporate Legal on financial, inventory or filing matters.
  • Maintain data integrity across financial systems (HFM, MRP, JDA, ERP); support system changes, testing and issue resolution.
  • Drive process harmonisation and continuous improvement by documenting SOPs, workflows and closing calendars to strengthen operational consistency.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or a closely related field.
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in commercial finance within a multinational, retail or consumer‑goods environment.
  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Proven ability in month‑end close, balance‑sheet reconciliations and statutory reporting.
  • High attention to detail, strong sense of responsibility and effective cross‑functional teamwork.
  • Relevant professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA) preferred.

Experience
