Kering Eyewear seeks a Wholesale Brand Ambassador in Tokyo. Manage wholesale partnerships, drive sales, and oversee visual merchandising across key retail accounts.
Role & Responsibilities
- Develop and execute activity plans aligned with sales cycles and visit frequency KPIs across assigned store clusters
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with merchandising managers, store managers, and sales staff across wholesale partners
- Drive sell-in (wholesale) and sell-out (point-of-sale) performance and support new collection launches
- Monitor brand penetration, appropriate product assortment, and inventory levels to maintain selective distribution standards
- Negotiate and implement brand exposure improvements through visual merchandising compliance and brand image maintenance
- Conduct product knowledge, brand heritage, and trade marketing training for retail partners and their staff
- Prepare visit reports, collect customer feedback, and analyze competitive brand activity, product performance, and bestseller/worst-seller patterns
- Act as the primary liaison between retail partners and the brand, translating customer feedback and market insights back to headquarters
Qualifications
- Native-level Japanese language proficiency (required)
- Professional proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
- Experience in fashion, luxury, cosmetics, or FMCG industries strongly preferred
- Knowledge or experience in trade marketing and visual merchandising
- Demonstrated negotiation, communication, and presentation skills
- Ability to develop, execute, and manage sales strategies
- Strong analytical skills with results-oriented commercial mindset
- Collaborative team player with excellent interpersonal communication abilities
- Willingness to travel regularly to assigned wholesale accounts

Sales experience is not required; however, background in fashion, luxury goods, cosmetics, or FMCG sectors is highly valued. Exposure to trade marketing and visual merchandising principles is beneficial.
