Kering Eyewear in Milan seeks a Smart Glasses Retail Designer to craft phygital retail concepts and elevate in‑store experiences for wearable launches.
Role & Responsibilities
- Translate brand vision into holistic retail and visual merchandising concepts that elevate the customer experience for smart glasses launches.
- Define and develop innovative retail and VM concepts across multiple touchpoints (window displays, in‑store fixtures, pop‑ups, VM tools), integrating physical, digital and interactive elements.
- Produce detailed design packages including renderings, technical drawings and specifications for suppliers and contractors.
- Act as key point of contact for project briefs from concept through execution, coordinating feasibility, timelines and budgets.
- Collaborate closely with cross‑functional teams (marketing, product, commercial) to ensure cohesive execution and product storytelling.
- Oversee production and in‑store implementation, ensuring quality, consistency and adherence to brand standards.
- Monitor and benchmark trends and best practices in luxury, wearables and phygital retail to evolve the brand’s retail approach.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Design, Architecture or a closely related discipline.
- Minimum 4 years’ professional experience in retail design or store concept development, preferably with exposure to consumer technology or wearables.
- Proven portfolio demonstrating concept development, spatial design, and successful retail execution.
- Experience with experiential and phygital retail projects is a distinct advantage.
- Fluent written and spoken English; additional languages are advantageous.

At least 4 years of professional experience in retail design, retail concept development or visual merchandising, ideally with prior work on experiential or phygital projects and exposure to consumer technology or wearable products.
Education
Master’s degree in Design, Architecture or related field.
