Kering Eyewear Production Planning Coordinator in Limena, Italy. Lead production scheduling and supply chain coordination for luxury eyewear collections.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Coordinate production plan definition, ensuring alignment with demand forecasts, material availability, and manufacturing constraints
  • Supervise production programme progression, identifying deviations and defining corrective actions in collaboration with relevant functions
  • Analyze production capacity, workload distribution, and bottleneck identification to optimize resource efficiency
  • Coordinate scheduling of manufacturing activities for both internal departments and external suppliers (make & buy operations)
  • Manage structured communication channels within Supply Chain, Logistics, and Demand Planning to align priorities, escalate delays, and address critical issues
  • Ensure availability and timely updates of performance reporting on planning KPIs, production efficiency, and delivery punctuality
  • Support strategic allocation of product models across the supplier base, ensuring balanced production capacity distribution
  • Identify planning process improvement opportunities and contribute to the development and refinement of scheduling tools
  • Foster a collaborative team environment and facilitate cross-functional interfaces within the organization
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and operational standards
  • Build, mentor, and develop the planning team, fostering an empowered, inclusive, and sustainable workplace culture while serving as a listening point for staff and organizational feedback

Qualifications

  • Degree in Industrial Engineering, Economics, or related discipline
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Production Planning, Scheduling, or Supply Chain roles within industrial manufacturing environments
  • Strong proficiency in planning systems (MPS, MRP, Capacity Planning)
  • Advanced Excel skills; experience with SAP or comparable structured ERP platforms is preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to use Artificial Intelligence tools responsibly to enhance decision-making effectiveness and quality
  • Fluent in English
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with prioritization discipline
  • Excellent communication skills, operational leadership competency, and cross-functional collaboration aptitude
