Kering Eyewear seeks a Planning Specialist in Setteville, Italy to manage supply planning, supplier coordination and inbound Asia shipments for the Visard plant.
Role & Responsibilities
- Plan and monitor inbound supply and production flows to meet delivery timelines and service level targets for the Visard plant in Setteville.
- Maintain accurate and timely planning and progress data within company systems (planning updates, order confirmations, delivery information).
- Collaborate with logistics and production to define supplier lead times and operational priorities.
- Coordinate inbound material arrivals from Asia, liaise with freight forwarders and schedule deliveries to the plant.
- Manage supplier follow-up for order confirmations and delivery updates, ensuring data consistency in ERP.
- Verify shipping documentation and ensure information alignment between Supply Chain and Logistics teams.
- Support Quality team in handling returns and rework with suppliers, updating related data in the system.
- Monitor raw material, component and WIP stock levels to align physical situation with planning.
- Prepare structured reports on vendor performance (service levels, quality, received material, delays).
- Analyze supply delays, identify root causes and trigger corrective actions with cross-functional stakeholders.
- Verify progress of production plans for Asia-sourced semi-finished goods in coordination with the programming team.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of planning processes with attention to cost control and budget compliance.
Qualifications
- Degree in management engineering, industrial engineering, economics or a related discipline.
- Previous experience in supply chain and/or production planning roles.
- Familiarity with ERP systems and planning tools; accurate data-entry and systems governance.
- Strong organisational skills and proven ability to manage competing priorities.
- Proactive, problem-solving mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.

Experience
Relevant hands-on experience in supply chain, materials or production planning with responsibility for supplier coordination, inbound logistics scheduling and vendor performance monitoring. Experience interacting with freight forwarders and manufacturing teams is expected.
Education
University degree in management engineering, industrial engineering, economics or a related field.
