Kering Eyewear Operations Controller – IT in Padova, Italy. Lead IT financial planning and cost management for a global luxury eyewear brand.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead annual budgeting, forecasting, and monthly closing processes for the IT function
- Monitor and analyse IT operating expenses, identifying variances versus budget and forecast with proactive corrective actions
- Control IT CAPEX projects, ensuring proper capitalisation and adherence to accounting policies
- Develop and maintain financial reporting, KPIs, and dashboards for IT performance, cost efficiency, and project tracking
- Partner with IT managers and project leaders to monitor spending and identify optimisation opportunities
- Coordinate chargeback and IT cost allocation models across business units and legal entities
- Prepare and participate in Business Reviews with middle and senior management
- Support management with ad hoc financial and operational analysis
- Improve reporting systems and analytical outputs
Qualifications
- University degree in Economics or equivalent
- Knowledge of cost accounting and general accounting principles
- Familiarity with IFRS principles
- Experience preparing, analysing, and discussing budgets, forecasts, and planning activities
- Proficiency in English
- Prior experience in IT cost analysis (preferred)
- Knowledge of SAP (preferred)
Skills
Experience
4–5 years of relevant experience in financial analysis, cost accounting, or operations controlling, ideally within an IT cost management context or complex organisational environment.
Education
University degree in Economics or an equivalent qualification in accounting, finance, or business administration.
Workplace
The role is situated in Padova, Veneto, Italy — conveniently close to Venice.
Compensation
The base compensation for this position is EUR 40,000 per annum.
