Kering Eyewear seeks a Junior Trade Events Manager in Milan to plan and execute trade shows, partner events and vendor logistics.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Design and execute commercial events and channel trade shows to present collections, including annual sales kick‑off conventions.
  • Coordinate the global commercial events plan and ensure local activations comply with corporate guidelines and brand standards.
  • Develop and run brand experiential events to boost partner engagement and sell‑out, contributing to operational playbooks and best practices.
  • Act as the primary contact for all organisational and logistical aspects before, during and after events.
  • Manage the supplier network: source vendors, negotiate commercial terms and oversee service delivery against agreed standards.
  • Oversee end‑to‑end logistics including venue selection, guest lists, agendas, invitations, catering, accommodation, transfers, samples and gifts.
  • Collaborate with Corporate Image, Retail and Corporate Design on space design, setup and local event guidelines.
  • Liaise with Legal for contract review and ensure compliance with regulations and safety requirements.
  • Coordinate area event budgets with continuous cost monitoring; handle approvals, purchase orders, invoice checks and expense reconciliation.
  • Produce post‑event reports, capture learnings and KPIs, track costs and outcomes, and disseminate insights to stakeholders.
  • Monitor industry trade fairs and customer‑experience innovations to identify trends and opportunities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communication, Event Management or a related discipline.
  • 3–5 years of experience in event management or trade events, preferably within fashion, luxury, retail or agency environments.
  • Fluent Italian and English; French is a plus.
  • Proven competence in budgeting, cost control and financial reporting for events.
  • Strong negotiation skills with a focus on supplier management and cost optimisation.
  • Excellent organisational, problem‑solving and multitasking abilities with acute attention to detail.
  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills; comfortable managing internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proactive, autonomous and results‑driven mindset with the ability to work under pressure.
  • Willingness to travel frequently for events and trade shows.

Experience
