Role & Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain comprehensive purchase plans for assigned suppliers and brands, prioritizing new model launches while optimizing production capacity against market demand and company priorities
• Monitor purchase order progress and delivery status in real-time, implement corrective actions, and communicate forecast updates and delays to relevant departments
• Contact finished product suppliers to confirm and track new purchase orders, ensuring timely receipt of confirmations and accurate data entry into the planning system
• Analyze and share materials shortage reports with suppliers, identify root causes of delays, and collaborate with cross-functional teams on resolution strategies
• Monitor supplier workload and schedule purchase orders in accordance with their operational constraints, contractual terms, lead times, production capacity, and material availability
• Maintain ongoing supplier communication to update delivery forecasts, validate system records, and proactively alert departments to potential shipment delays or critical issues
• Support the team in preparing operational reporting and analytics to facilitate decision-making across planning activities

Qualifications

• Degree in Management Engineering or Business Economics
• 1-2 years of experience in supply chain planning, procurement, or related roles
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Fluent English language skills
• Preferred: Experience with SAP or similar enterprise resource planning systems
• Preferred: Knowledge of production planning systems (MPS, capacity planning, MRP)

Skills

Experience

1-2 years of experience in supply chain planning, procurement, purchase planning, or similar roles within manufacturing or luxury goods environments. Prior exposure to supplier management and demand-driven scheduling is advantageous.

Education

Degree in Management Engineering (Ingegneria Gestionale) or Business Economics/Administration (Economia Aziendale).

Compensation

The base compensation for this position is EUR 29,000 per annum.

CCNL contract for eyewear manufacturing sector employees (collective labour agreement), classification as office worker, annual variable bonus, and additional benefits in accordance with company policies beyond statutory requirements.
