Kering Eyewear seeks a Junior Sales Channel Operations Specialist in Padova, Italy to manage order-to-cash operations for B2B clients in the luxury eyewear sector.
Role & Responsibilities
- Support management of order-to-cash flow for assigned customer portfolio with accuracy and timeliness
- Coordinate with Sales and Operations functions to drive customer service excellence and revenue optimization
- Execute proactive planning and timely estimation of activities to achieve revenue targets and operational efficiency
- Manage order flow from acquisition through invoice in compliance with agreed trade terms
- Coordinate delivery flow by liaising with Planning, Logistics, and customers as first point of contact for queries and issues
- Plan rolling pick-and-pack efforts to facilitate Logistics volumes management
- Conduct channel and customer portfolio analysis to inform Sales and Operations decision-making
- Identify missing orders and involve Sales in timely customer outreach
- Develop order proposals based on channel, customer, assortment, or other relevant criteria
- Generate key sales and customer-related analysis and reporting for Sales team and customers
- Support sales events such as Buying Days, Sales Campaigns, brand presentations, and customer visits
- Maintain customer master data ensuring accuracy, completeness, timeliness, and integrity of all information including pricing
- Manage backorders and open orders portfolio to maintain clean records
- Oversee commercial Returns Management in compliance with agreed trade terms and internal guidelines
- Monitor process efficiency within assigned portfolio and propose enhancements to management
- Participate in ad-hoc sales-related activities as required
Qualifications
- Business-related degree or equivalent business experience
- Previous experience (1–2 years) in a similar B2B customer service operations role
- Fluent English at C1 level or above
- Advanced proficiency in SAP, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Knowledge of order-to-cash flows and business processes
- Working knowledge of Incoterms and customs regulations
- Strong proactivity and teamwork capabilities
- Customer-oriented with demonstrable flexibility
- Problem-solving skills and clear communication
- Trustworthiness and integrity in professional conduct
Skills
Experience
1–2 years of professional experience in a similar B2B customer service or sales operations environment, with demonstrated knowledge of order-to-cash processes. International Sales experience within a B2B setting is considered advantageous.
Education
Business-related degree (e.g., Business Administration, Commerce, International Trade) or equivalent professional business experience demonstrating strong operational and commercial acumen.
Workplace
This position is based in Padua, Veneto, Italy, within easy reach of Venice.
Compensation
The base compensation for this position is EUR 29,000 per annum.
