Kering Eyewear seeks Junior Regulatory & Smart Devices Specialist in Padova, Italy. Support product compliance and regulatory affairs for eyewear and smart devices.
Role & Responsibilities
- Interface between market and production sources to ensure product compliance with customs and safety requirements
- Collaborate with product development, quality, and sourcing teams to maintain regulatory compliance throughout the product lifecycle
- Coordinate testing, certification, and approval activities for eyewear and smart devices across international markets
- Evaluate product conformity with applicable regulations including REACH, RoHS, Battery Regulation, RED, EMC, and GPSR
- Verify legal compliance of product labels, user manuals, packaging, and technical documentation
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation including Technical Files, Product Information Files, and Declarations of Conformity
- Monitor regulatory and standards evolution applicable to eyewear, wearables, smart glasses, and connected devices
- Develop and update company procedures, guidelines, and compliance standards
- Support regulatory requirements analysis during new product development and market entry
- Communicate continuous improvement opportunities to the Product & Regulatory Compliance Senior Coordinator
- Operate in compliance with Kering's Code of Ethics and compliance standards
Qualifications
- Degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Materials Science, or equivalent technical-scientific discipline
- 1–2 years of experience in Regulatory Affairs, Product Compliance, or Quality Assurance, preferably in electronics and/or regulated technical product sectors
- Knowledge of principal regulations applicable to consumer products and electronic devices
- Fluent English (written and spoken)
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Interest in smart devices, wearable technologies, and consumer electronics
Skills
Experience
1–2 years of experience in Regulatory Affairs, Product Compliance, or Quality Assurance, preferably in electronics or regulated technical product sectors.
Education
Degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Materials Science, or equivalent technical-scientific discipline.
Workplace
The successful candidate will be located in Padua, Veneto, Italy.
Compensation
The base compensation for this position is EUR 29,000 per annum.
