Kering Eyewear in Padua, Italy seeks a Junior Eyewear Prototyper (Intern) to support prototype development in the HQ creative atelier.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Support the creative and technical team in the development of prototypes according to the brands' collection plans, ensuring adherence to technical specifications and targets for timing, quality and cost.
  • Contribute to the identification and evaluation of project criticalities including technical issues, timelines, resource needs and equipment constraints.
  • Apply specific prototyping techniques, materials and procedures appropriate to the product brief and intended finish.
  • Operate and assist with professional machinery and workshop equipment used in prototype construction under supervision.
  • Participate in internal meetings and provide constructive input to meet objectives and help create collections that exceed brand expectations.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a similar prototyping role for eyewear and/or jewellery is a plus.
  • Practical knowledge of professional machines and equipment used for prototype development.
  • Familiarity with metals, engineering plastics and natural materials such as wood and horn.
  • Manual dexterity, meticulous attention to detail and a problem‑solving mindset.

Experience
