Kering Eyewear seeks a Junior Demand Planner in Padova, Italy. Develop demand forecasts and optimize supply chain planning within luxury eyewear.
Role & Responsibilities
- Develop 12-15 month rolling demand forecasts at individual SKU level for assigned commercial areas and customer segments
- Analyze historical data to identify principal demand drivers and assess forecast accuracy
- Contribute to the development of statistical models for sales prediction and evaluate forecasting results
- Support the preparation of company targets and analyze current business performance through rolling forecasts at account and market level
- Collaborate with account managers to discuss performance, build growth and recovery plans, and guide demand planning initiatives
- Serve as the primary planning contact for all projects related to assigned markets
- Provide support for continuous improvement in customer service levels while optimizing finished goods inventory in alignment with management directives and corporate strategy
- Execute back-office planning functions in coordination with sales support and supply chain teams to provide information to stakeholders
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Management Engineering, Economics, or related discipline
- Excellent command of English language
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel
- SAP system knowledge (preferred)
- 1-2 years of prior experience in similar demand planning roles within multinational environments (preferred)
Skills
Experience
Prior experience of 1-2 years in analogous demand planning roles within multinational contexts is considered advantageous. Familiarity with SAP systems is a valued plus.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Management Engineering (Ingegneria Gestionale), Economics, or related disciplines.
Workplace
This position is based in Padova, Veneto, Italy, within easy reach of Venice.
Compensation
The base compensation for this position is EUR 29,000 per annum.
