Kering Eyewear seeks an In‑Store Specialist (Merchandiser) in Bridgewater, USA to drive sales and merchandising across Mid‑Atlantic department store accounts.
Role & Responsibilities
- Drive sales across assigned department store and dedicated store accounts, implementing regional strategies and initiatives to grow business at door level.
- Achieve brand and territory sales goals by actively prospecting opportunities, coaching store teams, and creating local sales momentum.
- Maintain and optimise visual merchandising and competitive facings for all Kering Eyewear brands; restock displays and ensure correct product positioning.
- Conduct regular field visits to department stores to build relationships with store management, execute merchandising resets, and perform floor maintenance.
- Use business reports (Skypad, Go Spot Check) to analyse assortment, facings, and sales performance and translate insights into action.
- Plan and execute in‑store marketing activations (trunk shows, pop‑ups, visibility moments) to increase brand awareness and traffic.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (sales, marketing, store management) and provide timely feedback to the Regional Manager on trends, best sellers, and competitive activity.
- Deliver high standards of customer service while on site and manage client follow‑up for repairs, special requests and aftercare.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year retail sales experience; luxury retail and/or eyewear experience strongly preferred.
- Demonstrable understanding of the luxury fashion category and merchandising standards.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Proven ability to create exceptional customer experiences that drive loyalty and measurable sales results.
- Collaborative, proactive, and solution‑oriented approach with strong interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable personal transportation for regular travel across the Mid‑Atlantic territory.

Experience
Minimum 1 year of retail sales experience; prior experience in luxury retail or eyewear is advantageous. Demonstrated success working with department store accounts, conducting floor resets, and travelling regularly within a designated territory.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent required; college coursework or certification in fashion, retail, business or visual merchandising preferred.
