Kering Eyewear seeks District Director for Southwest region. Lead sales team, drive revenue growth, manage brand ambassadors. Reports to VP Sales. 7+ years experience required.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and coach a team of brand ambassadors to achieve their highest potential through consistent training and strategic goal planning
  • Drive sales performance and revenue growth while ensuring operational integrity and maintaining monthly profitability targets
  • Define and execute strategic action plans to ensure strong control of KPIs and sales activities across the district
  • Support proper store routing and conduct consistent field visits, co-traveling 3-4 days per week with brand ambassador teams
  • Build and nurture strategic relationships with customers, maintaining strong market presence and conducting client visits on a consistent basis
  • Develop and implement tailored business plans for key accounts, establishing structured targets and investment requirements
  • Monitor all KPIs related to productivity, sales performance, and customer service to identify growth opportunities and create strategic action plans
  • Track sales performance and status reports by brand ambassador and brand, building and executing recovery plans as needed
  • Analyze market trends and competitive landscape to develop strategic action plans executed collaboratively with the team
  • Evaluate distribution channels and identify opportunities for elevation of placement and market share
  • Provide bottom-up forecasting and implement strategies for gap closure across the district
  • Drive forecast planning processes for the district and collaborate with regional management on strategic initiatives
  • Promote brand awareness and establish market and store presence to capture competitive market share
  • Lead execution of local, regional, and national selling events and promotional campaigns
  • Demonstrate effective managerial competencies including team building, change leadership, and enforcement of synergy
  • Provide constructive feedback on performance, selling practices, customer service, and in-store presence to ensure consistency
  • Partner with Regional VP and Human Resources on employee relations issues and escalations
  • Collaborate on the annual performance review and compensation review processes for the district
  • Attract, recruit, and retain a high-performing team; build talent pipelines through strategic networking
  • Ensure a consistent and branded onboarding experience for new hires
  • Collaborate with the training department on new product and service training initiatives

Qualifications

  • Minimum 7 years of sales management experience, with specific experience in a district-level role
  • Proven track record in healthcare, eyecare, optical lens, outdoor, fashion, luxury, cosmetics, or consumer goods industries
  • Demonstrated ability to grow sales and build door distribution among optical, optometrist, ophthalmologist, sunglass, and lifestyle retailers
  • Strong ethical standards and high integrity
  • Exceptional business acumen and highly analytical mindset
  • Proven ability to identify business needs, define strategic plans, and drive implementation of business targets
  • Ability to build, manage, and nurture strong customer relationships based on high service levels and trust
  • Demonstrated experience collaborating with multiple departments including Human Resources, Store Operations, and Marketing
  • Outstanding interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
