Kering Eyewear seeks a District Director — Southern Texas in Houston, TX to lead field sales, coach Brand Ambassadors and grow eyewear distribution.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor and coach Brand Ambassadors to maximize individual and district sales performance through structured training, goal setting and regular feedback.
  • Define and execute district business plans and strategic action plans to achieve sales budgets, KPIs and monthly profitability targets.
  • Conduct frequent store and client visits (co-travel with Brand Ambassadors 3–4 days/week) to build customer relationships, ensure brand standards and capture market intelligence.
  • Monitor and analyze sales, productivity and customer-service KPIs to identify growth opportunities and implement recovery or acceleration plans.
  • Develop and manage top-customer plans, distribution elevation strategies and forecasting processes (bottom-up forecasting and gap-closure strategies).
  • Drive local, regional and national selling events and collaborate cross-functionally with HR, Store Operations, Marketing and Training to support product launches and talent development.
  • Recruit, onboard and retain high-performing teams; partner with HR and Regional VP on complex employee relations, performance reviews and compensation processes.
  • Deliver periodic strategic reporting to management and continuously refine Sales Company processes in liaison with relevant departments.

Qualifications

  • Minimum seven years of progressive sales management experience, including prior district-level responsibility.
  • Proven track record of growing sales and distribution across optical/optometrist/ophthalmologist channels, sunglass and lifestyle retailers.
  • Demonstrable business acumen with strong analytical capability to translate data into actionable plans.
  • Proven ability to build and sustain high-trust customer relationships and to manage B2B accounts.
  • Available to travel up to 75% of the time and be based in Houston (Austin or San Antonio considered).
  • Strong interpersonal, presentation and communication skills; experienced in collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Experience

At least 7 years in sales management with direct district-level responsibility; experience in eyewear/optical, healthcare, outdoor, fashion, luxury, cosmetics or consumer-goods environments with a proven record of growing sales and distribution.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related discipline preferred; MBA or equivalent advanced degree advantageous.
