Kering Eyewear seeks a Business Analysis Specialist in Hong Kong to provide APAC business insights, sales forecasting and market analysis supporting strategic decision-making.
Role & Responsibilities
- Execute and interpret analyses of sales activities, distribution performance, sell-in and sell-out trends, and marketing initiatives, providing insights and reports to management and cross-functional teams
- Collaborate with Commercial and Finance teams in the creation, maintenance and continuous improvement of reporting databases, ensuring data integrity, accuracy and timely updates
- Design and execute ad hoc business analysis and research projects aimed at evaluating commercial opportunities, channel performance, distribution strategies and other business priorities
- Conduct market research to assess brand positioning, market penetration, industry developments, consumer trends and competitive dynamics across APAC markets
- Analyze and assess sales, orders, pricing, product portfolio performance, client development, distribution channels and forecasting trends, identifying growth drivers and potential risks
- Create, maintain and enhance business dashboards and reporting tools to monitor key performance indicators and facilitate decision-making
- Monitor and analyze competitors' performance, market developments and industry best practices, sharing findings with senior management, Sales and Marketing teams
- Support the Direct Manager in recurring business reviews preparation, forecasting, strategic projects, commercial planning activities and management reporting requirements
- Provide regular business updates, executive summaries and analytical reports
- Prepare and support the development of presentations and business review materials for senior management on a monthly, quarterly and ad hoc basis
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business, economics, engineering, finance or related discipline
- Relevant experience in Business Analysis, Commercial Planning, Sales Controlling or related functions in a dynamic environment
- Experience in Luxury, Fashion, Eyewear, Cosmetics, Consumer Goods or Retail industries
- Broad business understanding and strong commercial acumen
- Strong analytical capabilities
- Ability and confidence in managing and analyzing large and complex product portfolios
- Ability to conduct complex analyses and synthesize findings into clear reports, presentations and executive summaries
- Strong critical thinking skills with the ability to identify issues, propose solutions and support implementation of improvements
- Strong foundation in financial planning, performance analysis, forecasting and business reporting
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy
- Ability to manage multiple priorities across different markets and stakeholders
Skills
Experience
Relevant experience in Business Analysis, Commercial Planning, Sales Controlling or related functions within a dynamic and fast-paced environment. Experience in Luxury, Fashion, Eyewear, Cosmetics, Consumer Goods or Retail industries is strongly advantageous.
Education
Bachelor's degree in business, economics, engineering, finance or related discipline.
