Kering Eyewear seeks Assistant Area Sales Manager, Travel Retail in Hong Kong to drive APAC growth strategy, account management, and merchandising support.
Role & Responsibilities
- Develop and grow travel retail markets in Asia Pacific region to reach sales targets and implement sales strategy
- Build and nurture strong partnerships with key stakeholders to drive business growth
- Control and monitor purchase orders while coordinating with customer services
- Support seasonal sales campaigns and open-to-buy discussions
- Manage brand ambassadors and incentive programs
- Assess stock levels regularly and propose adjustments to optimize sales
- Prepare account-specific analyses and supporting documentation
- Partner with clients to ensure proper stock pipeline and delivery management
- Conduct monthly analysis reports including sell-in, sell-out, and inventory data
- Monitor industry trends and competitor offerings to maintain relevant product mix
- Provide operational support including after-sales support, training, visual merchandising, logistics, and legal compliance
- Collaborate with Trade Marketing on planning and execution of marketing initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
- 3–5 years of sales experience, preferably in key account management, premium categories, or cosmetics
- Experience in wholesale and/or retail environments with regional exposure preferred
- Fluency in English and Chinese (both spoken and written)
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, PowerPoint, Word)
- Deep knowledge of APAC market dynamics
- Proven analytical and data interpretation skills
- Strong presentation and reporting capabilities
Skills
Experience
3–5 years of professional experience in sales, with preference for key account management roles, work in premium or cosmetics categories, and exposure to both wholesale and retail environments. Regional or APAC market knowledge is advantageous.
Education
Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline.
