Kering Eyewear seeks Area Sales Manager in Munich to lead northern Germany sales team for Gucci, Saint Laurent, Balenciaga eyewear.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Lead, motivate, and develop regional sales team members with structured onboarding and mentorship
  • Establish and achieve revenue targets for assigned brands and the entire regional team
  • Serve as liaison between Head of Sales and field sales representatives
  • Interview, select, and make hiring decisions for new team members
  • Review and analyse weekly reports from team members to identify performance trends and opportunities
  • Approve and coordinate vacation requests within the team
  • Create and evaluate sales key performance indicators to drive strategic initiatives
  • Provide individual coaching and professional development to field sales personnel
  • Co-develop and implement distribution strategies in collaboration with Head of Sales and Field Sales Managers
  • Design and execute innovative sales strategies for market growth
  • Manage and strategically develop relationships with select top-tier accounts
  • Maintain 80% travel schedule across assigned territory

Qualifications

  • Minimum 4 years of field sales experience with proven success in fashion, accessories, lifestyle, beauty, or premium consumer goods
  • German native speaker with excellent English proficiency
  • Valid driver's license with no entries or restrictions
  • Exceptional communication and presentation capabilities
  • Demonstrated ability to build and expand business relationships
  • Sophisticated client engagement skills and comprehensive account management expertise
  • Strong negotiation and persuasion abilities
  • Capacity to perform effectively under pressure and meet seasonal and client-specific deadlines
  • Outstanding organisational skills and sales process optimisation capabilities
