Kering Eyewear seeks Area Sales Manager in Gothenburg, Sweden to lead wholesale distribution and drive sales across luxury eyewear territory.
Role & Responsibilities
- Actively drive sales and achieve budget targets by building a qualitative distribution network and developing close relationships with business partners
- Evaluate new customer positioning and assess suitability for launch of new brands and collections
- Maintain brand integrity by ensuring products are distributed in locations adequate for image, positioning, and location, with in-store presentation aligned to brand merchandising standards
- Research and identify target new customers within the assigned territory
- Guarantee effective visit planning to achieve KPIs in terms of visit frequency per store, brand visibility, and sell-out performance
- Conduct brand presentations and execute sell-in activities for new collections
- Provide in-store training to retailers' sales staff on brands, products, and marketing activities
- Ensure adequate stock levels at all points of sale and support stock management administration
- Implement trade marketing activities in cooperation with the trade marketing team to maximize customer sell-out
- Collect and manage sell-out reports and orders in collaboration with customer services
- Monitor visual merchandising compliance with Kering's distribution strategy and manage installation of point-of-sale marketing materials
- Manage and actively optimize brand presence by negotiating increased brand visibility, dedicated spaces, and window displays
- Ensure highest-level customer service and follow-through on orders and deliveries
- Build and maintain strong external and internal relationships
- Support the Finance department with invoice, debit and credit note inquiries
- Handle client commercial returns requests in accordance with corporate policy
Qualifications
- More than 2 years of proven sales experience in fashion, accessories, lifestyle, cosmetics or high-end consumer goods
- Full clean driving license
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Sales-driven mindset with ability to identify and develop new business opportunities
- Strong confidence in customer relationship management and account handling
- Demonstrated negotiation and influencing skills
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet seasonal and customer deadlines
- Excellent organizational skills with ability to manage and improve sales processes
- Experience in the eyewear sector is advantageous but not mandatory

More than 2 years of demonstrated success in sales roles within fashion, accessories, lifestyle, cosmetics or high-end consumer goods sectors. Experience in the eyewear sector is advantageous but not required.
