Kering Eyewear seeks an Area Sales Manager in London to develop optician and department store accounts and drive B2B sales across the South region.
Role & Responsibilities
- Develop and manage business with opticians, regional department stores and independent accounts to achieve sales budgets and KPIs.
- Identify, evaluate and onboard new retail partners, ensuring alignment with brand positioning and distribution strategy.
- Plan and execute regular field visits to maintain brand visibility, monitor sell‑out and maximise store performance.
- Deliver brand presentations and sell‑in for new collections; provide in‑store training to retailer sales teams on product, brand story and marketing initiatives.
- Collaborate with trade marketing to implement in‑store activations, window campaigns and POS material according to merchandising standards.
- Manage orders and stock levels in coordination with customer service; collect sell‑out reports and support stock administration.
- Negotiate and secure dedicated space, window displays and other merchandising opportunities to optimise brand presence.
- Support Finance with invoice, debit/credit note queries and process client commercial returns in line with corporate policy.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external customers to foster long‑term partnerships.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in field sales or account management within fashion, accessories, lifestyle, cosmetics or other premium consumer goods.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in a retail or wholesale environment.
- Full clean driving licence and willingness to travel up to 80% of the time across the assigned territory.
- Excellent presentation, negotiation and interpersonal skills with confidence in managing all aspects of client accounts.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and perform to seasonal and customer deadlines.

Experience
At least two years of direct field sales or territory/account management experience in fashion, accessories, lifestyle, cosmetics or other high‑end consumer goods. Prior experience in the eyewear sector is advantageous but not mandatory.
Education
Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, retail management or equivalent professional experience preferred.
