Kering seeks an External Events Project Manager in Paris to manage high-profile events including Cannes and corporate headquarters functions.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Oversee the design, decoration, and operational management of Kering's hospitality space at the Cannes Film Festival, including scheduling and event exploitation
  • Serve as primary liaison with hotel management for catering, table service, and guest experience requirements at Cannes
  • Establish and supervise Kering's logistics platform at Cannes, including hair and makeup services and vehicle fleet management; manage contractor partnerships and service agreements
  • Monitor budgets and maintain detailed reverse production timelines for Cannes initiatives
  • Manage all external events at Kering's 40 Rue de Sèvres headquarters, including visits, exhibitions, cocktails, and lunches, from planning through execution
  • Coordinate with internal communications teams and other Kering departments to ensure seamless event delivery at the headquarters location
  • Oversee the aesthetic presentation of the headquarters premises, including florist, décor, and interior design arrangements
  • Manage relationships with external event agencies and specialist vendors
  • Maintain comprehensive budget tracking and oversee the operational scheduling calendar for headquarters events; provide advisory support to other departments organizing events at the facility
  • Administer Launchmetrics software, including contact database updates, invitation management, RSVP tracking, and primary vendor liaison

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or higher from a business school, political science institution, communications school, or equivalent university degree (Bac +5 minimum)
  • Minimum 4 years of professional experience in event management, either within an events agency or as an in-house corporate events coordinator
  • Fluency in both English and French
  • Familiarity with the codes and aesthetic standards of the luxury industry
  • Proficiency with Launchmetrics software (preferred)
  • Demonstrated excellence in time management, prioritization, and organizational capability
  • Strong aptitude for aesthetics and interior design appreciation
