Kering is seeking an eCommerce Data Analyst Intern in Paris to analyse online sales and website tracking data, evaluate customer journeys and site performance, and recommend improvements to product discovery and conversion. The internship offers hands-on experience across eCommerce, web analytics and business decision-making, with supervision, regular feedback and growing responsibility.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Work with eCommerce stakeholders to frame business questions, define relevant metrics, and understand which decisions the analyses should inform.
  • Combine online sales and website tracking data, validate data quality, and prepare datasets for analysis.
  • Analyse on-site navigation journeys to identify friction points and opportunities to improve product discovery and conversion.
  • Analyse changes in website KPIs, including traffic, add-to-cart rate, checkout completion, and conversion rate, to identify potential causes of observed trends.
  • Help define success metrics and assess whether website changes or new product features have improved customer experience and business performance.
  • Present clear findings and actionable recommendations to eCommerce teams and the Houses, using concise visualisations where appropriate.
  • Share methods and insights with the Group’s and its Houses’ analytics community.

Qualifications

  • Currently studying data analytics, statistics, business, economics, or a similar field.
  • Analytical curiosity and an interest in eCommerce, customer journeys, and website optimisation.
  • Ability to communicate findings clearly, challenge assumptions, and translate analyses into practical recommendations.
  • Proficiency in SQL and Python for data exploration and analysis.
  • Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Collaborative mindset and eagerness to learn alongside business and technical teams.
  • Fluent written and spoken English; spoken French.
