Role & Responsibilities

  • Facilitate communication and alignment between Tech Leads across data domains, serving as the central synchronization point for priorities, dependencies, and risks
  • Ensure consistency of analytics engineering practices across domains by harmonizing standards, promoting code quality, observability, documentation, and delivery excellence
  • Drive cross-functional delivery initiatives by tracking progress of structural initiatives, ensuring quality of delivery within timelines, identifying and escalating risks and blockers
  • Orchestrate inter-domain coordination by consolidating information from squads for leadership and facilitating collaboration between Analytics Engineering and other chapters (Product, BI, AI, Architecture, Platforms)
  • Champion AI-assisted engineering initiatives by acting as technical referee on AI usage in analytics engineering practices, defining governance guidelines, structuring validation and quality assurance processes, and tracking adoption metrics
  • Develop teams and culture by supporting Analytics Engineers' professional growth, fostering a strong community based on knowledge sharing, and promoting a culture of technical excellence and continuous improvement

Qualifications

  • Significant experience as a Data Tech Lead or Senior Data Engineer
  • Strong understanding of data analytics engineering challenges and best practices
  • Ability to influence and coordinate across matrix organizations without direct hierarchical authority
  • Excellent communication, synthesis, and facilitation skills
  • Comprehensive understanding of core business processes in Retail, Supply Chain, Customer experience, and Omnichannel domains, plus associated data and analytics implications
  • Master's degree (Bac+5 or equivalent) in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related discipline
  • Mastery of data architectures including Data Lake, Data Warehouse, and Data Mesh paradigms
  • Expertise in cloud environments and architecture (Infrastructure as Code, multi-cloud approaches)

Experience collaborating with diverse technical and business stakeholders in matrix organizations. Proven capability to mentor and develop technical talent.

Education

Master's degree (Bac+5 or equivalent) in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical discipline.
