Kering — Data Engineer in Paris. Join Kering Technologies & Digital to develop the Group’s Data & AI platform (GCP, BigQuery, dbt).

Role & Responsibilities

  • Design, develop and maintain platform components and services (data pipelines, frameworks, governance modules, automations) for the Group’s Data & AI platform.
  • Participate in the developer community and Chapters: share best practices, drive adoption of platform tools and support product teams.
  • Contribute to Architecture Decision Records (ADR) by providing technical input and participating in architectural decisions.
  • Provide user support: investigate and resolve incidents, improve reliability, performance and observability of services.
  • Collaborate with the Platform Product Owner and multidisciplinary teams to align priorities, deliver increments and continuously improve the service.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree (Bac+5) in Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a Cloud & Data engineering role building or operating data platforms.
  • Proven experience with cloud data services — ideally on GCP (BigQuery, dbt, Dataflow, Airflow, Pub/Sub); cloud certification is a plus.
  • Strong programming and data skills: SQL and Python; infrastructure automation experience with Terraform.
  • Experience with relational (Postgres) and NoSQL databases and familiarity with Infrastructure as Code principles.
  • Knowledge of IT best practices (Agile, ITIL, DevOps, FinOps) and familiarity with Jira and Confluence.
  • Professional English, written and spoken.

Experience

At least 3 years working in Cloud & Data environments, with hands-on responsibility for designing, implementing or operating scalable data platform components and pipelines.
