Data Analyst Intern at Kering, Paris. Join Finance's Data & Analytics team to develop BI solutions and support financial reporting projects.
Role & Responsibilities
- Participate in the oversight of Insight Analytics solutions within the finance community, monitoring ongoing projects and ensuring timely completion while maintaining alignment with business and technical objectives
- Develop, deploy, and maintain Finance Business Intelligence solutions, including query tools, data models, data visualizations, interactive dashboards, and ad hoc reporting
- Securely distribute accurate operational reporting to cover specific finance processes (P2P, R2R, O2C, A2R, FP&A)
- Contribute to the development and documentation of Finance domain data products
- Select and collect accurate data, build pertinent data models and visualizations, analyze required results, and present findings using appropriate data visualization techniques
- Monitor new technologies and releases, and formulate recommendations to improve current developments and methodologies
- Ensure all developments are properly documented to prevent knowledge loss, utilizing the Confluence collaborative platform
Qualifications
- University or master's degree in Business, Economics, Marketing, Design, Engineering, or a related field
- Strong proficiency in SQL language
- Knowledge of Power BI or other data visualization tools
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken
Skills
Experience
No specific professional experience required; however, academic exposure to data analysis, business intelligence concepts, or financial processes is advantageous. The ideal candidate will demonstrate foundational understanding of database structures, query logic, and analytics workflows.
Education
University or master's degree in Business, Economics, Marketing, Design, Engineering, or another relevant field of study.
