Kering in Paris seeks a Cybersecurity Analyst Intern (SOC/CSIRT) — 6‑month internship starting Sept 2026 supporting detection and incident response.
Role & Responsibilities
- Support daily SOC and CSIRT operations under the guidance of senior analysts, participating in detection, triage and incident response workflows.
- Investigate security alerts across complex environments using SIEM, EDR and AI-assisted tools, and contribute to root-cause analysis and containment activities.
- Integrate new data sources into monitoring platforms and author or refine detection rules, playbooks and analytic queries.
- Conduct threat intelligence monitoring and maintain awareness of emerging adversary techniques and tooling.
- Contribute to CERT projects such as AI integration in workflows and prepare clear incident reports and post‑incident documentation.
Qualifications
- Enrolment in the final year of a Master’s programme or engineering school with specialisation in cybersecurity, systems or networks.
- Solid understanding of core cybersecurity concepts, networking and log analysis.
- Practical familiarity with SOC concepts, security logs and scripting (PowerShell and/or Python preferred).
- Strong analytical curiosity, organisational skills, clear written communication and the ability to work collaboratively in a team.
- Fluent English; knowledge of Italian is a plus.

Early-career candidates: prior academic projects, internships or hands‑on exposure to SOC concepts, security log analysis and basic scripting are highly valued; no extensive professional experience required.
