Kering Customs Operations Specialist role in Trecate, Italy—manage export/import customs procedures, EU compliance, and luxury goods documentation for the global luxury group.
Role & Responsibilities
- Control the correctness of customs-relevant invoice elements prior to customs bill issuance
- Issue customs bills using Gulliver software and transmit to Agenzia delle Dogane
- Monitor proof of EU exit and track Global Guarantee for EU Transit compliance
- Upload 'Fascicolo elettronico' documentation in cases of customs control
- Update Gulliver software with HS codes, masterdata, and foreign currency exchange rates
- Provide customs instructions to external brokers and create CSV integration files
- Verify correctness of outsourced customs bills and maintain comprehensive archival of customs documentation
- Visit customs offices as required to complete export formalities, validate origin certificates (ATR and EUR.1), and assist during customs inspections and audits
Qualifications
- University degree in Economics, Political Science, Law, or equivalent discipline
- Spedizioniere Doganale state exam certification and practical training with a licensed customs broker (desirable)
- Fluency in Italian and English, both written and spoken
- Expert proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel; knowledge of Gulliver software desirable
- Comprehensive knowledge of EU and Italian customs regulations
- Strong understanding of international trade agreements, CITES regulations, Incoterms, tariff classification, and customs procedures
- Proficiency with EX and T2 certificate issuance and Agenzia delle Dogane telematic systems
- Proven experience managing international logistics flows within cross-border transportation environments
Skills
Experience
Strong operational experience in customs administration or international trade compliance, preferably within luxury goods, cross-border logistics, or manufacturing environments. Demonstrated expertise in managing customs procedures, preparing and submitting official documentation, and coordinating with government customs agencies.
Education
University degree in Economics, Political Science, Law, or equivalent discipline. Spedizioniere Doganale state exam certification and completion of recognized training course per Article 27 of Regulation 2447/2015 is highly desirable.

The role is situated in Trecate, Piedmont, Italy — conveniently close to Milan.
Compensation
The base compensation for this position is EUR 30,000 per annum.
