Kering seeks a Cloud Engineer SRE in Paris to strengthen production reliability and scale AI-augmented engineering practices within the DevSecOps Studio.
Role & Responsibilities
- Operate and optimize cloud infrastructure across AWS (API Gateway, CloudFront, ECS, EKS, ALB), administering and maintaining production Kubernetes clusters
- Define and track SLOs, SLIs and error budgets for critical services, ensuring alignment with business objectives
- Design, build and maintain infrastructure using Terraform and Packer, with AI-assisted code generation as standard practice
- Automate workflows and deployment pipelines using GitHub Actions and CI/CD practices
- Collaborate with FinOps teams to track cloud spending, identify waste and implement measurable cost optimization recommendations
- Maintain and enhance the observability stack (ELK, Grafana, APM, distributed tracing), ensuring effective monitoring, alerting and system visibility
- Implement chaos engineering practices to proactively test and strengthen platform resilience
- Transform incidents into lasting improvements through structured post-mortems and drive toil reduction via automation
- Define and track SLOs specific to AI services: LLM latency, agent error rates, LLM Gateway availability (Galassia)
- Implement observability for agentic pipelines, including MCP call tracing, token consumption monitoring and behavioral drift detection
- Design and operate SRE agents for incident triage, automated runbook generation and assisted root cause analysis
- Promote Infrastructure-as-Code, automation and DevSecOps best practices across development teams
- Support teams in adopting platform tools and practices, explaining technical decisions and making complex concepts accessible
Qualifications
- 5 to 8 years of experience in infrastructure or platform engineering
- At least 2 to 3 years of hands-on experience in high-traffic production environments as an SRE, Platform Engineer or DevOps Engineer
- Advanced proficiency with AWS (API Gateway, CloudFront, ECS, EKS, ALB)
- Advanced command of Terraform in production environments
- Production-grade Kubernetes administration and operations
- Expertise with GitHub Actions for CI/CD pipeline automation
- Proficiency with Ansible for infrastructure automation
- Deep knowledge of the ELK and Grafana observability stack
- Strong foundation in Linux system administration and networking fundamentals (TCP/IP)
- Solid understanding of SLO, SLI, error budget and FinOps concepts
- Multi-cloud knowledge is desirable
- Hands-on experience with AI-SDLC tools (GitHub Copilot, Claude Code or equivalent) in daily engineering work
- Demonstrated ability to design LLM-assisted SRE automations on an LLM Gateway platform
- Proven track record of leading reliability transformations with quantified, measurable improvements
- Experience turning incidents into lasting learnings through structured post-mortems
- Full proficiency in French and English, both written and spoken
