The CITES and Export Certificates Intern supports CITES operations within the Customs Team, reporting to the CITES Manager, and contributes to certificate issuance, document archiving, EU activities, data capture and reporting. The role is a six-month internship based in Trecate, with collaboration across Kering brands and teams.
Role & Responsibilities
- Collaborate with team members and participate actively in discussions, decisions and project activities.
- Issue CITES re-export certificates.
- Issue CITES import certificates.
- Archive yellow CITES velina documents.
- Manage EU CITES-related activities.
- Support data capture tools and reporting.
- Participate in events and networking activities to stay up to date.
- Learn internal operations and workflows to provide tailored support to the brands.
- Stay informed about the latest legislation affecting the countries in which the group operates.
Qualifications
- Graduate or soon-to-graduate in Economics, Business Management, Engineering or a related field.
- Studies and/or project work in Customs and Logistics.
- Good knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint.
- Fluent in English and Italian.
- Organized and detail-focused.
- Proactive problem-solver with an analytical mindset.
- Team-oriented and able to maintain a high degree of confidentiality.
