Kering seeks a BI Developer in Paris to design and maintain business intelligence solutions across Tableau, Power BI, GCP, and dbt for luxury fashion houses.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and evolve data models dedicated to BI use cases on the Data Platform (GCP/dbt), applying data modeling best practices to ensure reliable, consistent, and actionable data
  • Build and maintain data sources and ready-to-use reports on BI platforms (Tableau and Power BI), ensuring quality, performance, and user adoption
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of the Data Platform and BI stack by documenting developed solutions, ensuring their maintainability, reusability, and adherence to team development and version control standards
  • Understand, analyze, and challenge business user requirements, translating them into relevant BI solutions aligned with Data Domain objectives
  • Design and enhance clear, intuitive, and user-friendly data visualizations, applying best practices in data visualization to support analysis and decision-making
  • Support key users in adopting and making effective use of reports to maximize the impact and value of delivered solutions
  • Work closely with Product Owners, Analytics Engineers, and Data Engineers within the Data Domain to contribute to the development and evolution of BI products
  • Actively participate in Agile ceremonies and BI roadmap prioritization to ensure alignment between solutions, business needs, and domain objectives
  • Promote best practices and contribute to the growth of the BI community by supporting knowledge sharing, capability building, and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Ensure the reliability, performance, and continuous improvement of BI solutions through monitoring, maintenance, and optimization of production reports and data models
  • Define, implement, and manage data quality and report adoption indicators to ensure meaningful usage and long-term trust in decision-support solutions
  • Proactively recommend tools, modeling approaches, data visualization techniques, and performance optimization practices while maintaining an active watch on BI trends and innovations

Qualifications

  • At least 3 years of experience in a similar BI Developer or Analytics Developer role
  • Solid expertise in designing BI solutions, from data modeling and data visualization to reporting
  • Strong proficiency with data visualization tools such as Tableau and/or Power BI
  • Good knowledge of data modeling, reporting, and UX best practices
  • Good knowledge of SQL and the modern data ecosystem, including GCP, BigQuery, dbt, and data warehousing architectures
  • Ability to design, develop, and evolve reliable, high-performing BI solutions tailored to business user needs
  • Ability to understand, challenge, and support business needs within complex, international, and multidisciplinary environments
  • Clear and collaborative communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Strong analytical and synthesis skills, combined with rigor and attention to detail
  • Curiosity, initiative, and a continuous learning mindset, with a willingness to share knowledge and contribute to collective success

Experience

At least 3 years of professional experience in a BI Developer, Analytics Developer, or closely related role. Demonstrated expertise in designing and implementing BI solutions across the full spectrum of data modeling, reporting, and data visualization. Proven ability to work effectively with business stakeholders and technical teams in international, complex environments.

Education

A degree in computer science, data science, mathematics, engineering, or equivalent professional experience demonstrating strong technical foundations in data analysis and software development.
