Kering Assistant Accountant – Purchase to Payment position in Petaling Jaya, Malaysia. Entry-level finance role processing invoices and supporting transaction management within a luxury conglomerate.
Role & Responsibilities
- Perform invoice processing within agreed service level agreements and escalate exceptions promptly
- Execute period and quarter-end closing procedures and year-end processing activities
- Address end-market inquiries and resolve invoice discrepancies in a timely manner
- Assist in implementing new accounting processes and contribute to continuous process improvements
- Maintain and support adherence to Accounts Payable policies, procedures, and internal control programs
- Establish and nurture working relationships with Brands Finance and other Kering departments
- Provide backup support to team members as required
- Ensure compliance with accounting principles, SSC standards, and agreed service level agreements
Qualifications
- Diploma holder with a minimum of 1 year work experience, or fresh graduate with a degree in Commerce, Finance, or Accounting
- Basic knowledge of fundamental accounting concepts, practices, and procedures
- Basic knowledge of expenditure cycle, purchase orders, invoices, credit/debit notes, and payment terms
- Basic knowledge of inter-company recharge principles and rules
- Understanding of general administrative duties and procedures
- Ability to use SAP and other financial systems
- Good organizational and time management skills
- Good computer literacy and proactive learning orientation
- Fluent written and oral communication in English
- Understanding of cultural sensitivities in a global environment
Skills
Experience
Experience in performing the Purchase to Payment process; minimum 1 year work experience or fresh graduate with relevant degree.
Education
Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Finance, or Accounting; fresh graduates with relevant degrees are considered.

This position is based in Petaling Jaya, Selangor, Malaysia, within easy reach of Kuala Lumpur.
