Kering Assistant Accountant – Purchase to Pay (P2P)

Role & Responsibilities

• Process supplier invoices across the Purchase-to-Pay cycle in accordance with SLAs, including matching, validation and posting.
• Escalate and resolve problematic or disputed invoices in a timely manner; coordinate with suppliers and internal stakeholders to achieve resolution.
• Support period, quarter and year-end accounting activities and related reconciliations.
• Respond to end-market and internal stakeholder inquiries, maintaining high service standards.
• Assist with roll-out and documentation of new P2P processes; support maintenance of Accounts Payable policies and procedures.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance process efficiency, effectiveness and internal controls.
• Ad hoc tasks and peer backup to ensure team continuity and service level attainment.
• Build and maintain effective working relationships with Brands Finance and other internal partners.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in Commerce, Finance, Accounting or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 1 year of relevant work experience, preferably within Purchase-to-Pay or Accounts Payable.
• Working knowledge of fundamental accounting principles, expenditure cycle and inter-company recharge rules.
• Practical experience with invoice processing and period-end activities.
• Demonstrable organizational skills, time management and a proactive, continuous-improvement mindset.
• Ability to communicate clearly in English, both written and oral; cultural sensitivity when liaising with regional stakeholders.
• Capacity to work collaboratively in a shared-services or cross-functional team environment.

Skills

Experience

At least 1 year of hands-on experience in Purchase-to-Pay or Accounts Payable functions, ideally within a shared service centre or finance team supporting multiple brands or markets.

Education

Degree or diploma in Commerce, Finance, Accounting or related field.
