Kering Assistant Accountant P2P role in Petaling Jaya, Malaysia; bilingual (English/Japanese) finance professional supporting procurement-to-pay operations.
Role & Responsibilities
- Process and validate business expenses and travel and entertainment (T&E) claims according to applicable policy and approval matrix, including receipts handling
- Process and validate vendor invoices in compliance with established policy
- Prepare and release payments, including payment proposals
- Reconcile vendor statements, intercompany transactions, and procurement-to-pay balance sheet items
- Maintain accurate filing and record-keeping practices
- Support the Shared Service Centre's digital transformation initiative toward 100% paperless operations, including redesigning controls, practices and processes
- Execute ad-hoc accounting assignments as required
Qualifications
- Diploma in Accounting or Finance
- Business proficiency in English and Japanese (JLPT N2 to N3 level minimum)
- Proven ability to work independently and learn quickly
- Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving capabilities
- Ability to multitask and perform under pressure with tight reporting deadlines
