Kering seeks an AI Engineer in Paris to design, develop, and deploy Generative AI solutions on GCP and AWS, supporting luxury industry transformation.
Role & Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy AI and Agentic applications within business-focused squads (Operations, Customer, or Merchandising) to address concrete challenges such as conversational agents, process automation, and intelligent assistants
- Rapidly prototype solutions to frame user needs, validate use cases, and accelerate value creation
- Design and evolve solutions based on LLMs, RAG architectures, and agentic systems, leveraging GCP (Vertex AI, BigQuery, Agent Engine) and AWS ecosystems
- Ensure maintenance, reliability, and continuous evolution of AI and Agentic products deployed in production
- Collaborate closely with Data & Agentic Platform teams to contribute to platform improvement and evolution
- Actively participate in initiatives aimed at strengthening technical capabilities and team effectiveness
- Drive recommendations on tools, architectural patterns, and engineering practices best suited to business needs
- Develop clean, structured, and maintainable code by applying software engineering best practices including testing, code reviews, and CI/CD pipelines
- Continuously monitor developments across the AI ecosystem and share learnings with the team
- Contribute to the dissemination of best practices and collective upskilling of the organization
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar AI engineering or software development role
- Strong educational background in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, or related field
- Demonstrated experience developing AI and software solutions
- Strong proficiency in Python with ability to produce production-ready code
- Knowledge of Generative AI technologies and LLMs, including prompt engineering, RAG architectures, frameworks such as LangChain or LlamaIndex, and model APIs (OpenAI, Gemini, Anthropic)
- Initial experience in cloud environments, ideally GCP (Vertex AI, BigQuery, Agent Engine) or equivalent services
- Understanding of MLOps and Software Engineering practices including version control, CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker), and development best practices
- Strong team collaboration abilities and multidisciplinary teamwork experience
- Clear and collaborative communication skills with both technical and business stakeholders
- Strong product mindset with ability to understand business challenges and propose impactful technical solutions
- Intellectual curiosity, initiative, autonomy, and strong learning mindset
- Fluent English proficiency (mandatory); French is preferred but not required
