Role & Responsibilities

• Lead, train and motivate accounting staff; supervise, delegate and oversee daily accounting department activities.
• Ensure timely and accurate month-end and year-end close deliverables and financial reporting for assigned brand(s).
• Maintain and improve internal controls, accounting systems and procedures to increase accuracy and operational efficiency.
• Ensure accounting practices and reporting align with GAAP (and where applicable IFRS) and current financial legislation.
• Manage reconciliation and audit activities and maintain complete, auditable financial records.
• Analyse financial data and prepare reports for management, Brand Finance teams and external stakeholders.
• Manage monthly reporting flows, ensuring data accuracy between the ERP and the consolidation tool.
• Update disclosures and other formal financial reporting; review results with Brand Finance teams to validate treatment of events.
• Support other departments on financial impact, strategy formulation and decision-making.
• Perform ad hoc financial projects and tasks as required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• 7–10+ years of relevant accounting experience with strong knowledge of GAAP and IFRS.
• Proven experience supervising, developing and delegating to accounting teams.
• Demonstrated ability to manage month-end/year-end close processes and deliver accurate reporting under deadline pressure.
• Strong analytical aptitude with high attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with brand finance and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Organisational resilience and ability to prioritise multiple competing deadlines.
• Comfort adapting to new processes and systems.

Skills

Experience

7–10+ years of progressive accounting experience, including leadership or supervisory responsibility and hands-on management of month-end/year-end close, financial reporting and audit activities for multi-brand or multi-entity operations.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.

Compensation

The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 95,000 to USD 110,000 per annum.
