Role & Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise the monthly financial close process, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with reporting standards for the USA, Brazil, and France.
  • Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements in accordance with Group and local accounting standards.
  • Establish, document, and maintain accounting processes to ensure high-quality and consistent financial information.
  • Review balance sheet account reconciliations, identify variances, and lead resolution actions.
  • Support internal and external audit engagements, serving as the key accounting point of contact.
  • Develop and implement best practices, procedures, and controls to optimize accounting processes.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements, automation, and control enhancements.
  • Ensure data integrity and maintain a single source of truth for all financial and accounting information.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of accounting policies and stay current on local regulatory and compliance requirements.
  • Perform ad hoc financial analysis and participate in special projects as requested.
  • Lead, coach, and develop the accounting team through performance management, goal setting, and continuous training.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
  • Solid experience in accounting management or a senior accounting role, ideally within a multinational environment.
  • Fluent in English and Spanish, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Skills

Strong ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams (AP, Tax, HR, Brands, Shared Services). Highly analytical, organized, and detail-oriented, with strong leadership and interpersonal skills. Advanced Excel skills and strong proficiency in accounting systems (COMPAQ preferred). Proven expertise in HFM. Customer-centric mindset with high standards of service and professionalism. High learning agility, open to change and continuous improvement. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Experience

Solid experience in accounting management or a senior accounting role, ideally within a multinational environment.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
