Kering seeks an Accountant (R2R) in Petaling Jaya, Malaysia to deliver month‑end reporting, audits and SSC transformation support.
Role & Responsibilities
- Prepare full set of monthly and year‑end accounts (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) and associated audit schedules with a strong controllership mindset.
- Coordinate and support year‑end statutory reporting, including preparation of audit schedules, financial statements and management of audit queries.
- Support corporate tax and GST submissions and related documentation.
- Contribute to the rollout and maintenance of the Group’s internal controls framework (COSO) and associated policies and procedures.
- Participate in SSC transformation and process‑improvement projects aimed at redesigning accounting and controlling processes and achieving a paperless objective.
- Perform ad‑hoc accounting and commercial finance assignments as required.
Qualifications
- Degree or diploma in accounting.
- Approximately 5 years' relevant experience; 2–3 years in a public accounting firm preferred (Big Four candidates highly regarded).
- Experience in multinational corporate accounting or commercial finance within an MNC and working in a hybrid reporting matrix.
- Practical exposure to finance transformation projects and major financial systems implementations (preferred).
- Good knowledge of applicable accounting standards and strong controllership principles.

Experience
Around five years of progressive accounting experience is expected. Candidates with 2–3 years in public accounting (Big Four preferred) followed by 1–2 years in an MNC environment are ideal; however, applicants without public accounting experience but with strong hands‑on accounting and commercial finance experience will be considered. Experience in finance transformation programmes and major ERP/finance tools is advantageous.
Education
Degree or diploma in accounting.
