Kering seeks Accountant in Petaling Jaya, Malaysia to support Finance SSC transformation, financial reporting, and COSO compliance.
Role & Responsibilities
- Prepare comprehensive financial statements including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, cash flow statements, and audit schedules for month and year-end reporting in compliance with applicable accounting standards
- Support the Finance Manager in all year-end statutory reporting activities, including audit coordination, corporate tax and GST submissions, audit schedule preparation, and management of audit queries
- Implement and support the rollout of Kering Group's COSO internal controls framework policies and processes across Malaysia operations
- Participate in transformation and process-improvement initiatives, with emphasis on redesigning controls and transitioning to a 100% paperless environment
- Execute ad-hoc finance and accounting projects as assigned
Qualifications
- Degree or diploma in accounting
- 5 years of accounting experience, ideally including 2–3 years with a public accounting firm (Big 4 candidates strongly preferred)
- Experience with major financial system transformation projects (SAP, Oracle, or Blackline preferred)
- Solid knowledge of accounting standards and compliance frameworks
- Alternative pathway: strong commercial accounting experience in an MNC environment with hybrid reporting structures

Experience
5 years of accounting experience, with a preferred pathway of 2–3 years in a public accounting firm (particularly Big 4 firms) followed by 1–2 years in commercial finance within an MNC environment. Candidates with strong commercial accounting backgrounds and no public accounting experience will also be considered.
