Kering seeks an experienced Accountant – Purchase to Payment in Petaling Jaya, Malaysia to handle invoice processing and AP operations.
Role & Responsibilities
- Process invoices within established Service Level Agreement timelines
- Escalate and resolve accounts payable issues and vendor inquiries in a timely manner
- Perform period, quarter, and year-end closing activities
- Assist in troubleshooting, decision-making, and identification of potential risks or issues
- Monitor and contribute to the improvement of service level performance
- Support new process implementations and maintain Accounts Payable policies and procedures
- Ensure adherence to internal controls and accounting standards
- Train and coach new team members on P2P processes and best practices
- Foster cross-functional working relationships with internal departments and stakeholders
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and problem-solving exercises
Qualifications
- Diploma with minimum 5 years' work experience in accounting or finance, or Degree (preferably Commerce, Finance, or Accounting) with minimum 4 years' relevant experience
- Business proficiency in English and Korean language skills (reading, writing, and speaking) with TOPIK Level 4–5
- Intermediary knowledge of fundamental accounting concepts, practices, and procedures
- Intermediary knowledge of expenditure cycle, treasury functions, and inter-company recharge principles
- Proven experience in Purchase to Payment processes
- Ability to use SAP and other financial systems
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
Skills
Experience
Minimum 4–5 years of relevant experience in accounting, finance, or shared services operations, with demonstrated competency in Purchase to Payment processes, invoice processing, and accounts payable functions.
Education
Diploma in Commerce, Finance, Accounting, or related field; or Bachelor's Degree in Commerce, Finance, or Accounting. TOPIK Level 4–5 certification for Korean language proficiency is required.
