Kering Accountant – P2P (Invoice Processing) role in Petaling Jaya, Malaysia. Join the luxury group's finance team handling Accounts Payable and transaction processing.
Role & Responsibilities
- Process invoices within Service Level Agreement (SLA) timeframes and escalate issues promptly
- Resolve vendor and user inquiries whilst addressing period, quarter, and year-end processing requirements
- Assist in troubleshooting, decision-making, and identification of potential operational risks and issues
- Monitor and contribute to improving service levels and operational efficiency
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and problem-solving activities
- Assist with implementation of new processes and maintenance of Accounts Payable policies and procedures
- Ensure adherence to internal controls programs and compliance with accounting principles and SSC standards
- Support team members through coaching, training, and knowledge-sharing to enhance collective performance
- Establish and maintain productive cross-functional working relationships with stakeholders
Qualifications
- Diploma with minimum 5 years' work experience, or Degree in Commerce, Finance, or Accounting with 4 years' experience
- Business proficiency in English and Korean (TOPIK Level 4–5) with reading, writing, and speaking capability
- Intermediary knowledge of fundamental accounting concepts, practices, and procedures
- Intermediary knowledge of expenditure cycle, purchase orders, invoices, credit/debit notes, and payment terms
- Intermediary knowledge of treasury functions including bank statements and cash operations
- Intermediary knowledge of inter-company recharge principles and rules
- Proven experience performing Purchase to Payment processes
- Strong SAP and financial systems proficiency
- Good understanding of administrative duties, cultural sensitivities, and general operations
Skills
Experience
Minimum 4–5 years of professional experience in accounts payable, transaction processing, or related accounting functions, with demonstrated competency in Purchase to Payment cycles and vendor management.
Education
Diploma with minimum 5 years' work experience, or Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Finance, or Accounting with 4 years' professional experience.
