Kering seeks an Accountant - P2P in Petaling Jaya, Malaysia to manage accounts payable, invoice processing and SAP-driven P2P operations.
Role & Responsibilities
- Execute end-to-end Purchase-to-Pay activities including invoice processing within agreed SLAs and vendor query resolution.
- Manage period, quarter and year-end accounts payable close tasks and provide backup support to the Senior Accountant/Team Lead.
- Escalate and resolve operational issues promptly; assist in troubleshooting and risk identification.
- Support implementation and maintenance of AP policies, SSC standards, internal controls and financial SLAs.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, process optimisation and new process rollouts.
- Maintain strong working relationships with internal stakeholders and Brand Finance teams; address stakeholder requests and enquiries.
- Perform ad-hoc tasks and support team effectiveness through collaboration and knowledge sharing.
Qualifications
- Diploma with minimum 3 years' relevant work experience, or Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Finance or Accounting with at least 2 years' experience.
- Practical experience in Purchase-to-Pay / Accounts Payable operations and invoice processing within SLA.
- Working knowledge of fundamental accounting principles, expenditure cycle rules and inter-company recharge practices.
- Proven organisational skills, time management and ability to prioritise competing deadlines.
- Strong problem‑solving mindset with experience escalating and resolving transactional issues.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills in English and sensitivity to multicultural working environments.

Experience
2–3 years of hands-on accounting experience in accounts payable or P2P operations, including invoice processing, vendor management and participation in period-end activities.
Education
Diploma in a relevant field with 3 years' experience, or Bachelor's degree in Commerce/Finance/Accounting with 2 years' experience.
