Kering hiring Accountant – Procurement to Payment in Petaling Jaya, Malaysia. Process invoices and support AP operations with Korean language skills required.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Process invoices and transactional items within service level agreement timeframes
  • Escalate and resolve procedural issues in a timely manner, addressing vendor and internal stakeholder inquiries
  • Perform period, quarter, and year-end closing activities and support reconciliation processes
  • Assist in troubleshooting, decision-making, and identification of potential operational risks and issues
  • Monitor, manage, and contribute to service level improvements and continuous process optimization
  • Support new process implementations and maintain Accounts Payable general policies and procedures
  • Ensure adherence to internal controls, accounting principles, and Shared Services Center standards
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to maintain effective stakeholder relationships and seamless service delivery
  • Coach and train new team members on processes, systems, and best practices
  • Perform ad hoc tasks and back up Senior Accountant or Team Lead as required

Qualifications

  • Diploma with minimum 5 years' work experience in accounting or finance, or degree holder in Commerce, Finance, or Accounting with 4 years' experience
  • Business-level proficiency in English and Korean language skills (TOPIK Level 4–5), including reading, writing, and speaking
  • Intermediary knowledge of fundamental accounting concepts, practices, and procedures
  • Intermediary knowledge of expenditure cycle and procurement rules (purchase orders, invoices, credit/debit notes, payment terms)
  • Intermediary knowledge of treasury functions and rules (bank statements, cash operations)
  • Intermediary knowledge of inter-company recharge principles and rules
  • Demonstrated experience in Procurement to Payment (P2P) processes
  • Proficiency with SAP and other financial management systems

Diploma in Commerce, Finance, or Accounting (or equivalent qualification); or bachelor's degree in related field.
