Kering Accountant – Payment Processing (P2P) in Petaling Jaya, Malaysia. Korean speaker (TOPIK 4–5) with 4–5 years accounting experience and SAP expertise required.
Role & Responsibilities
- Perform daily and weekly batch payment controls checks prior to and after payment run execution, ensuring accuracy and compliance
- Execute emergency payments in accordance with Project Alfred exceptions and payment control protocols
- Input manual payments into bank portals and manage service level adherence to payment schedules and bank cut-off times
- Address inquiries from Invoice Processing Teams, Brands, and Vendors within two business days
- Assist with new process implementations and support maintenance of Treasury and Account Payable policies and procedures
- Monitor performance measures and key performance indicators (KPIs) related to payment processing
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance process efficiency and internal control adherence
- Test new processes and systems for improved payment processing capabilities
- Train new team members and share knowledge to enhance team effectiveness
- Establish and maintain working relationships with internal stakeholders and brand partners
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or professional certification (ACCA, CPA, or MIA)
- 4–5 years of prior related accounting experience, with minimum 2+ years specifically in payment processing or accounts payable
- Proficiency in Korean language (TOPIK Level 4–5) with business-level English; reading, writing, and speaking competency required
- Advanced knowledge of SAP, particularly FI/CO modules, is essential
- Strong understanding of fundamental accounting concepts, practices, and procedures
- Knowledge of chart of accounts, profit and loss, and balance sheet reporting
- Understanding of inter-company recharge principles and general administrative duties
- Shared services or luxury industry experience is advantageous

Experience
4–5 years of professional accounting experience, with demonstrated expertise in payment processing, transaction execution, and inter-company accounting. Hands-on SAP proficiency is required. Familiarity with shared services environments or luxury conglomerate structures is advantageous.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, or professional accounting qualification such as ACCA, CPA, or MIA (Malaysian Institute of Accountants).
