This six-month internship supports the Product Development department at Kenzo in managing collection development from conception through production normalization. The assistant collaborates with in-house and external studios, workshops, and manufacturers to coordinate product files, process product nomenclature data in PLM systems, manage prototype logistics, and ensure compliance with collection timelines and fittings schedules.
Role & Responsibilities
- Monitor and update collection development files in coordination with design studios, internal and external workshops, and manufacturing partners
- Enter product nomenclature data into PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) systems
- Initiate and receive prototypes from external workshops within specified lead times
- Track shipments and receipt of prototypes and collection samples in compliance with production schedules
- Verify conformity of finished models upon receipt and ensure adherence to delivery deadlines relative to fittings schedules and collection retro-planning
Qualifications
- Textile engineering degree (such as ENSAIT) or fashion school technical qualification (such as ESIV), ideally in final year of studies
- First significant professional experience within a fashion house
- Demonstrated passion for fashion with strong product sensibility
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
- Fluent French and English language capabilities
